will be a reflection of her belief where she would be seen in the role of a TV journalist. Rani has undergone a training process and has closely studied the profession to perform it well on the big screen. The actor was in the capital to promote her forthcoming film

No one killed Jessica

with Vidya Balan. Sabrina Lal made a special appearance during the press conference. The film is extensively shot in Delhi.

Rani made her Bollywood debut with the woman-centric film

among others. Asked about not being seen on screen much these days, Rani said, “I want to be a part of good films and play good characters. I wouldn’t like to disappoint my fans. I have always tried that every new film I do is different from others.”

best, so I decided to take it up. We had completed our shooting in June, but they (the makers) also needed some time to complete the film,” she said.

No One Killed Jessica

is based on model Jessica Lall, who was shot dead in 1999 by Manu Sharma in a nightclub. Produced by UTV Spotboy, the film also features Vidya Balan as Jessica’s elder sister Sabrina. It will hit the screens on January 7 next year.
