Ranveer Singh says he roams around naked when he’s home alone
Actor Ranveer Singh’s status as a fashion icon is unquestionable but we hope this new trend doesn’t catch.bollywood Updated: Aug 10, 2018 18:42 IST
Ranveer Singh, who has developed quite the reputation as a fashion icon, has said in a new interview that when he’s alone at home, he doesn’t wear anything at all. “If there is no one in the house then be rest assured that I’d be roaming naked,” he said.
According to Pinkvilla, the actor was speaking after an appearance at an event in Mumbai. Ranveer’s over-the-top public persona is very much a part of his identity as a movie star. From loud glasses to bright outfits, the actor’s wardrobe reflects his behaviour.
Only yesterday, he caused a minor traffic jam when he jumped on top of his car and waved to his fans. He was mobbed outside a store, where he was even forced to lend a protective hand to the women in the crowd, who couldn’t muscle their way through to him.
Ranveer’s latest performance was acclaimed. He played Alaudin Khilji in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s historical epic, Padmaavat. He reunited with rumoured girlfriend Deepika Padukone in the film. It has been reported that the couple will tie the knot at Lake Como in Italy later this year.

“I always had a unique sense of style,” he said in an interview with GQ India in the magazine’s April issue. “These really rich kids from Delhi used to wear Gucci trench coats and Louis Vuitton boat shoes to class, while the Americans wore blue jeans and black zip-up North Face jackets, or Abercrombie and Fitch from head-to-toe. I actually used to buy a lot of stuff in Goan flea markets, which in an American college context, was really eye-catching,” Ranveer said of the time he was studying in Indiana, US and ‘couldn’t afford a lot of fashionable clothes, and wore a lot of hand-me-downs.’
