Ranveer Singh tries DDLJ train stunt, fails miserably. Watch the fake take

In the most recent of his adorable yet crazy antics, the Bajirao Mastani star tried recreating the epic train sequence from Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. However, what followed was not just hilarious, it must have been painful for the actor.

Ranveer Singh sure knows how to make news, both on and off the screen. Remember his adorable takes of iconic film dialogues and imitations of actors in the past? This time, the Bajirao Mastani star has tried his hands on yet another cult film scene: The train sequence from Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.

Just that what followed was not just hilarious, but painful for the actor.

In a video he tweeted tweeted on Tuesday, Ranveer is seen enacting the scene with choreographer Ganesh Acharya playing Kajol’s part from the 1995 hit. While Ranveer manages to assist Ganesh get on board, he falls off from the train himself!

Ranveer posted along with the video, “This stunt is performed by trained Filmys. Do not try this at home. Or at the train station.

On the work front, Ranveer has begun preparing for his role of Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati that also stars Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.
