Raveena Tandon played cheese in Mohra, her daughter thinks

“Raveena says, "I explained to her (daughter) that it was a song where I was dancing, and promised her that, on my return, I’ll show her that bit from Mohra (1994). Rasha hasn’t seen any of my work yet, apart from Andaz Apna Apna (1994)."

Actor Raveena Tandon, who is currently shooting in Hyderabad for a south film, was in for a little surprise when she received a call from her eight-year-old daughter, Rasha, two days ago. Apparently Rasha was excited because her friends told her that her mother was the lady in the song, Tu cheez badi hain mast mast (Mohra, 1994).

A source close to the actor tells us, “There is an advertisement on TV by a cheese brand. They’ve used the song from Raveena’s film in the ad, making a pun on the word ‘cheez’. So, one day, when Rasha was at school, some of her friends walked up to her and told her that her mother was in ‘Tu cheez badi hain mast mast’. She was naturally confused and clueless, which is why when she went home, she called her mom immediately.”

The source further adds, “Rasha thought Raveena played ‘cheese’ in some film and she kept asking her which movie it was.” Ask Raveena about this and she says, “I explained to her that it was a song where I was dancing, and promised her that, on my return, I’ll show her that bit from Mohra (1994).
