Ranbir Kapoor is surely a perfectionist. To get under the skin of his character in Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar, this Kapoor lad has been visiting music maestro AR Rahman's studio frequently.



Since music is a critical aspect of his character in Rockstar, Ranbir is doing his homework in Rahman's studio, who is busy composing music for the film.



A source told Mumbai Mirror, "Ranbir is taking keen interest in the music of the film. The actor knows that music is the soul of this film and that he needs to understand its pulse to really get into his character."

Ranbir's character plays is a Jim Morrison fan.

He has also been taking specialised guitar lessons to look more convincing as a musician.
