Salman is chilled out, says director Ali Abbas

Director Ali Abbas Zafar talks about working with Salman Khan and how people have made the actor seem larger-than-life by talking about him all the time.

He has worked with Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor in the past. For his recent film, director Ali Abbas Zafar worked with superstar Salman Khan. He believes that people have made Salman Khan seem larger-than-life by talking about him all the time. He also reveals that his latest film, based on wrestling, has been in the works for nearly four years. “I met Salman with Katrina, while I was making Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011). He had liked the film. I narrated the script to him, even before I started directing Gunday (2014).”

Ali feels that Salman is a simple actor and doesn’t remember anything extraordinary happening on the first day of the shoot. “He’s a chilled-out guy. He loved the character so much that he went with the flow,” he says.
