Salman Khan repeating Dabangg act in Ready?

Promos of Salman Khan’s upcoming movie Ready show the actor enacting his typical Dabangg style. The makers of Ready claim that they are trying to cash in on the superstar's image as Chulbul Pandey, made popular by the blockbuster last year.

Promos of Salman Khan’s upcoming movie Ready show the actor enacting his typical Dabangg style. The makers of Ready claim that they are trying to cash in on the superstar's image as Chulbul Pandey, made popular by the blockbuster last year.



"We are taking advantage of Dabangg. We are not even trying to hide that; in fact, it is shown in the promos," says Bhushan Kumar, co-producer of Ready.



"It was always on our mind that we had to make the best use of Dabangg. Salman agreed to the idea and wanted the promo to convey this

clearly," he added.



The makers are selling the film as an out-and-out Salman Khan entertainer. One gets to see a lot of typical Dabangg styles in the film, be it the body language, mannerisms or the dialogues.



"We have no intention of taking Ready to a different direction. Dabangg used only Salman for it's marketing. For Ready too, we are following a similar formula," said Kumar.



"By and large, Ready is indeed playing on Salman's image."
