Salman turns playback singer, croons romantic song for Hero
Salman Khan fans grooved to his voice when he sang Hangover for the blockbuster Kick last year. The actor may not have sung any songs in Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Salman's release in 2015) but he has lent his voice for the title track of his co-production Hero, starring Sooraj Pancholi.
Salman Khan can do nothing wrong, or so it seems. After crooning that by-now-blockbuster song, Hangover, in his last year's hit Kick, the Dabangg star has now lent his voice for the title track of his co-production, Hero, starring Aditya Pancholi's son Sooraj and Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya.
Considering that his 2015 release, Bajrangi Bhaijaan is setting the box office on fire even three weeks since its release, here's one more reason to look forward to Hero, when it releases on September 25.
Hero will have another first of sorts: It will be the first time Salman will be lending his voice for another actor (in both Kick and Wanted he sang for himself). Promoting the song before it released on YouTube, the Facebook page of the film shared a few lines from the song: "Aankhon ke panno pe...Maine likha tha sau Dafa." Waiting for Salman to croon it for you? Well, so are we.
The video shows Salman recording for the song and is only a 23-second long teaser for the title track of the film. Hero is being co-produced by Salman and Subhash Ghai, the director of the original 1983 hit film starring Jackie Shroff, Hero.
