Shah Rukh Khan gets legal notice after Bhopal man develops rashes using a shaving cream
A Bhopal man has filed a case against Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan after he developed rashes on his face when he used a shaving cream endorsed by the actor. The man, Rajkumar Pandey, filed a case in a Bhopal consumer court alleging that Shah Rukh is misleading people with his advertisement where he says the shaving cream is “India’s number one”, according to a PTI Bhasha report. In his complaint, the complainant said he developed rashes on his face after using the shaving cream and had to get treatment from a government hospital.
After hearing the case, magistrate Kashinath Singh has sent notices to Shah Rukh, the owner of the company that manufactures the shaving cream, a local shopkeeper and the director of Madhya Pradesh Food and Drugs Department.
Claiming that he got the cream tested at the Madhya Pradesh Food and Drugs Department, Pandey told Bhasha, “The report says the cream is of low, bad quality.”
While SRK appears in ads for VI-John shaving cream, Hindustan Times could not independently verify the report.
Shah Rukh Khan is currently gearing up for the release of Imtiaz Ali’s next, Jab Harry Met Sejal , opposite Anushka Sharma. The actors will be in Delhi to launch the latest song from the film, on Wednesday.
