Shahid Kapoor was asked if Misha will walk the ramp anytime soon. Here’s his bewildered reaction
Shahid Kapoor doesn’t hope to see daughter Misha walk the ramp anytime soon. He says she is happy at her playschool.
Celebrities get asked the darnedest questions. Take for instance what happened at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week’s Day 3 when Shahid Kapoor walked the ramp for designer Amit Aggarwal.
After the show, Shahid answered questions from the media and one over-eager fan of him and daughter posed a question so unexpected, it even surprised Shahid himself. The actor was asked if his ‘cute munchkin’, daughter Misha, will be seen doing the rampwalk anytime soon. Just to remind you, Misha will turn two years old on Sunday.
The question made Shahid’s eyes go wide and all he could say at first was “Really? You really want me to answer that? You know how old she is right?”. Shahid then explained that Misha has no such plans in near future. “When you (the journalist) are really old and you have white hair and I have a few teeth less then we will have this conversation again. For now I think she is happy going to playschool and she will stay there,” he said.
Shahid wore a black suit with stripe detail for his ramp walk.He was joined by Bollywood actor Disha Patani who wore a shimmery black dress for the night.
Shahid and his wife Mira are expecting a second child and he could not be more excited. In an interview to HT, the actor said, “Having a child is the most amazing feeling. And we are fortunate that we are having a second one so soon, so [I am] feel happy and blessed about that. Family is always a big reason to work even harder. When you come back home to your family [after work], it’s a great feeling,” he said.
Shahid will soon be seen in Batti Gul Meter Chalu with Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam. The film releases on September 21.
