Actors today are multi-faceted and constantly striving to add more feathers to their caps. As it turns out, Shraddha Kapoor is no different. The young actor, who recently tasted success with the musical hit, Aashiqui 2, is also a trained singer, and is now planning to get back to her classes soon.


A source close to the actor reveals, “As a child, Shraddha had taken music lessons as she was very fond of singing. She is also gifted with a beautiful voice.” Incidentally, even in Aashiqui 2, Shraddha played the role of a singer (Arohi). “So, acting for the part came naturally to her. She played the role with spontaneity,” adds the source.

Apparently, after a long break, the actor now wants to restart her music lessons and, this time, take them up more seriously. Ask Shraddha about this and she says, “I am really keen to start my music riyaz once again. Playing Arohi only reminded me of how much I missed doing it.”
