Urging his youngest son AbRam to not watch life on the sidelines, the ‘Bollywood Badshah’ posted sage advice on Instagram: “Lessons from father to son... Don’t be a life spectator, take the plunge. Nail polish is optional.”

The video post shows an adorable AbRam playing with his toys.

From taking the toddler to IPL matches to hosting his daughter’s friends, Shah Rukh appears to be a very involved father, and admits to spoiling his children silly. “I am a very indulgent father. In fact, I am over indulgent. I spoil them a lot,” he said recently.

While his eldest son Aryan just graduated from college, his daughter Suhana recently celebrated her 16th birthday, and the superstar couldn’t be any prouder. “They (Aryan and Suhana) are studying abroad, I miss them a lot but it gives me an opportunity to take some time off, otherwise I am so embroiled in work. I have taken six-days off to spend time with Suhana as she is here. It’s really nice, it’s quality time. It’s quite amazing the conversations I have with them.”

But no matter how old they grow, Shah Rukh says he treats them as little children, much like any parent.

“The age of 16-18 somehow makes the kids want to stick to the parents even more when they get this five-six days break. I still treat them like they are two or three-year-old, but they are adults,” the 50-year-old star said.
