He says, “While the world may have known him as Pran the villain, in real life he was completely opposite — a great human being who had a rich and illustrious life.”

Vishal adds that they would talk about films a lot. “Pran uncle was like a kid in a toy shop whose eyes would light up when he would speak about any of the characters that he had played. He would tell me how he chose not to become a hero because it was so one-dimensional and that he always wanted to play a lot of characters. He had such a great sense of humour and I really admired him for his passion and his love for craft. I feel if I can achieve even one fourth of what he had in his life, it will be a tremendous feat for me,” says Vishal.
