The shooting of Ajay Devgn starrer, Singham, suddenly came to a halt recently. Reportedly, members of Cine Association workers stormed the movie sets at Film City to demand unpaid wages of over Rs 45 lakh from producers (Reliance).

Prem Singh Thakur, chairperson, vigilance department, FWICE says, "We stopped filming until the workers are paid. The producers (Reliance) owe the workers over Rs 45 lakh. It is a small amount for the producers, but a substantial amount in wages for the workers," reports Mid Day.

CEO, Reliance Big Pictures, Sanjeev Lamba, confirmed the reports and revealed that the issue has been sorted. He said: "Our last schedule ended some time ago. The shooting was not stopped. There was confusion over the payment between the workers and the art director. We've now cleared the misunderstanding and also a large sum of the due money."

AjaySingham, which stars Ajay Devgn and southern actress Kajal Agarwal, is a remake of a 2010 Tamil action flick.
