The ghost of a chairman’s mother, a footless whore in Siberia who has mastered the art of lovemaking, and more such intriguing characters are part of debutant author, Delhi-based Lopa Ghosh’s collection of short stories. Set in the backdrop of glass towers in a recession-struck first world country, the stories are woven around NRI Bengalis facing threats from deceitful forces including ghosts, lovers, communists and post-modern arrogance.
