I use Mr. Google all the time… (takes out his phone and checks). Temperature in Mumbai it is!

And the last show you binge-watched?

Lucifer.

Facts

Sun Sign: Taurus

Place of birth: Srinagar

School/college: St. Stephen’s College/ National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi

High point of your life: Every time I get asked for an autograph!

Low point of your life: I suffered from some serious health issues a couple of years ago. That was my lowest point.

One rumour about yourself you wish was true...?

That I am super rich!

And what’s the funniest rumour you’ve ever heard about yourself?

That I do drugs. In fact, it’s the opposite; I haven’t done drugs in my life!

What’s the sexiest thing about you?

My honesty.

Is there a superstition you believe in?

I always pray before leaving the house for important work. I also chant mantras while landing and taking off on a flight.

If there was to be a cocktail inspired by you, what would the drink contain?

Lime for sure, lots of ice, lots of vodka and some salt!

Pick a tag line for yourself.

I am who I am.

Three things nobody knows about you...?

I am very disciplined when it comes to work. I work like a dog. And I am a complete emotional and sentimental fool!

Rohit’s favourites

Movie: Cinema Paradiso (1988)

Comfort food: Kashmiri food

Favourite red carpet moment: Deepika Padukone in Rohit Bal for Cannes 2017

Style icon: Giorgio Armani

Your favourite memory growing up in Kashmir...?

Strawberry picking in Gulmarg. It was amazing.

One trend you will never try on yourself?

I don’t think there is anything I haven’t tried… but, may be, it will be applying make-up. What do you think?

If you could time travel, which era you’d choose?

The Gupta Period. I am getting very naughty thoughts about what I’d have done, but you can’t print those!

One thing that inspires you...?

My heritage. My theme for this year’s Blenders Pride Fashion Tour suggests the same. I rarely look outside for inspiration and even when I do, I always come back to India.
