Credit Suisse expands its Centre of Excellence in Mumbai
Global financial services provider, Credit Suisse, today said that its Centre of Excellence in Mumbai has included Global Arbitrage Trading IT, risk management and fixed income research and trading teams in its business, as part of expansion plans.
Global financial services provider, Credit Suisse, on Monday said that its Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Mumbai has included Global Arbitrage Trading IT (GAT IT), risk management and fixed income research and trading teams in its business, as part of expansion plans.
The expansion means there are now almost 280 people in the Mumbai CoE, making it the fastest growing of Credit Suisse's five CoEs globally, a press release issued here stated.
GAT IT supports Credit Suisse's equities business globally, providing high end technology development across trading and risk management platforms.
The new risk and fixed income research and trading teams in Mumbai would focus on core quantitative modeling, scenario analysis and research. The Mumbai teams would support the other teams globally.
Credit Suisse operates four other CoEs globally including its centre in Pune, which has over 2,300 staff providing financial accounting, technology, HR and operations support to the bank.
The other three centres are located in Raleigh Durham, USA, Singapore and Wroclaw, Poland.
