The company had posted a profit of Rs 407.44 crore in the same period of the previous financial year.
Net sales rose to Rs 3,357.45 crore from Rs 2,880.85 crore a year earlier, Dr Reddy's Laboratories said in a BSE filing. Revenue from the global generics segment grew 32% to Rs 2,654.78 crore, driven by North America, Russia and other emerging markets, the company said.
Shares of Dr Reddy's Laboratories were down 2.52% at Rs 2,459.20 on the BSE in late afternoon trade.
