Hitachi to enter ATM market

Global electronics company Hitachi on Monday announced it would enter India's expanding ATM industry. HT reports.

Global electronics company Hitachi on Monday announced it would enter India's expanding ATM industry.

"We plan to install around 1000 ATMs in India by next three years," said Kunihisa Matsuura, deputy GM, Hitachi-Omron Terminal Solutions, a subsidiary of Hitachi.

The ATMs installed by the firm will be cash re-cycling machines, which would allow customers to withdraw as well as deposit cash.
