HTML revenue rises 8.8% to Rs 647 crore in July-September
HT Media Ltd (HTML), the publisher of Hindustan Times and Mint, posted an 8.8% year-on-year increase in total revenue to Rs 647.2 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.
HT Media Ltd (HTML), the publisher of Hindustan Times and Mint, posted an 8.8% year-on-year increase in total revenue to Rs 647.2 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015, compared to Rs 594.8 crore in the same period last year.

The company’s profit after tax declined 8.7% to Rs 48.0 crore during the quarter from Rs 52.6 crore in the year-ago period.
“Our performance this quarter has been satisfactory despite subdued economic activity and tepid markets,” said Shobhana Bhartia, chairperson and editorial director, HTML.
The company reported a 6.7% rise in advertising revenues to Rs 474.2 crore during the quarter compared to Rs 444.4 crore in the same period of the previous year.
Circulation revenues increased 5.2% to Rs 75.4 crore during the quarter, compared to Rs 71.7 crore a year-ago.
Other revenues increased 24% to Rs 97.6 crore during the second quarter from Rs 78.7 crore in the same period of the previous year.
Revenues from the digital segment grew 36% to Rs 33.9 crore from Rs 24.9 crore in the year-ago period.
The radio business reported a 20.5% increase in reported revenue to Rs 29.3 crore during the quarter ended September 30, 2015, compared to Rs 24.4 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
