Breakfast cereals giant Kelloggs has expanded its network in India. It has increased its presence to 1,400 towns from 300 towns two years ago. The company is now looking at strengthening its distribution channels to reach the smallest towns across India.

“Now we hope to catalyse our distribution system to reach a greater audience,” said Anupam Dutta, managing director, Kelloggs India, which launched a new variant called Honey Loops. “One of our key growth areas has been the snax variant, which is cereal that is especially made for the 4 ‘o’ clock snack time for children. The segment has grown to take up 12 per cent of our total volumes and we see significant growth in this segment.”
