Nicholas Piramal India is now Piramal Healthcare

The group of companies like NPIL Laboratories and Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd has been clumped together into Piramal Diagnostic Services Pvt Ltd.

Nicholas Piramal India Ltd will now be known as Piramal Healthcare ltd.

The company in a statement issued to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday said that all formalities including the nod from shareholders and central government have been taken for the name change.

According to the company, the group of companies like NPIL Laboratories and Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd has been clumped together into Piramal Diagnostic Services Pvt. Ltd, while another company Gujarat Glass Ltd has been renamed Piramal Glass Ltd.

Recently, the group company popularly known as NPIL Research & Development Ltd was renamed Piramal Life Sciences Ltd.

Another group company, Indiareit FundAdvisors Pvt. Ltd, will continue to be known by its existing name, the statement said.
