Prasoon to lead McCann world body

Adman and lyricist Prasoon Joshi, till Monday the executive chairman, McCann Worldgroup India and regional creative director, McCann Worldgroup, is now the chairman of McCann Worldgroup Creative Leadership Council.

Adman and lyricist Prasoon Joshi, till Monday the executive chairman, McCann Worldgroup India and regional creative director, McCann Worldgroup, is now the chairman of McCann Worldgroup Creative Leadership Council. This is the first time in McCann’s history that an Asian has been appointed to the top global creative position, something that has the adman and lyricist excited.

“I am excited and honoured at being given the responsibility and feel good that the refined Indian creative thinking has been given recognition. I will benefit from the experience,” said Joshi.

The new role entails looking after the global creative product and at whatever makes the creative product better. Though he will lead this responsibility, McCann’s global creative leadership council has six select members who take collaborative decisions.
