Ramadorai is Airasia India chairman
A day after Ratan Tata was named the chief adviser to the board of AirAsia India, S Ramadorai was named as the chairman of the proposed passenger airline that would be based out of Chennai.

A day after Ratan Tata was named the chief adviser to the board of AirAsia India, S Ramadorai was named as the chairman of the proposed passenger airline that would be based out of Chennai.
Ramadorai, a non-independent, non-executive vice chairman at Tata Consultancy Services, is the adviser to the prime minister in the National Council on Skill Development.
"I would like to confirm Ramadorai as chairman of AirAsia India. A giant of Indian industry. A great thinker. Man from the south," tweeted AirAsia Group CEO Tony Fernandes. "That completes our team. Quite a heavyweight team for super exciting AirAsia India."
