Ramalinga Raju, four others sent to CBI custody for seven days

A local Hyderabad court today sent Satyam's former chairman B Ramalinga Raju, his brother Rama Raju and three others to CBI custody for seven days from tomorrow. Besides the Raju brothers, the CBI would be quizzing Satyam's former CFO and Price Waterhouse's partners S Gopalakrishnan and Talluri Srinivas in connection with the Rs 7,800 crore accounting fraud.

Besides the Raju brothers, the CBI would be quizzing Satyam's former CFO Vadlamani Srinivas and audit house Price Waterhouse's partners S Gopalakrishnan and Talluri Srinivas in connection with the Rs 7,800 crore accounting fraud at Satyam Computer.

The court also dismissed the bail petitions of Gopalakrishnan and Srinivas.
