RBI sets rupee reference rate at Rs 65.1570 against dollar
The Reserve Bank of India on Thursday fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 65.1570 against the dollar and 73.3277 for the euro.

The Reserve Bank of India on Thursday fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 65.1570 against the dollar and 73.3277 for the euro.
On Wednesday, these rates were 65.2571 and 73.4664 respectively.
According to an RBI statement, the exchange rates for pound and yen against the rupee were quoted at 99.7814 and 54.41 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.
The SDR-rupee rate will be based on this rate, the statement added.
