Renault, Nissan and Daimler announce alliance

French automaker Renault, Japan's Nissan and Germany's Daimler AG announced on Wednesday a partnership to exchange capital and share technological know-how.
The Renault-Nissan alliance will take a 3.1 per cent stake in Daimler, while Daimler will take 3.1 per cent of Renault and 3.1 per cent of Nissan.
