The Citroen Aircross was recently awarded a 5-star safety rating in the latest Bharat NCAP crash tests. This rating highlights the vehicle's strong build and focus on protecting occupants. Standard safety features
As standard, Citroen offers the C3 Aircross six airbags, anti-lock braking system, electronic brake distribution, Electronic Stability Program and Hill Hold. There are also ISOFIX child seat mounts, rear parking sensors and high speed alert.

Crash test result
Tested in 2025, the five-seater SUV scored 27.05 out of 32 in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and an impressive 40 out of 49 in Child Occupant Protection (COP).
Adult Occupant Safety
In the frontal offset deformable barrier test, the SUV earned 11.05 out of 16 points, while it achieved a perfect 16 out of 16 in the side movable deformable barrier test. The vehicle also successfully cleared the side pole impact assessment. Standard safety equipment, such as dual front airbags, seatbelt pretensioners, and load limiters, contributed to its strong performance.
Child Occupant Safety
For child safety, the C3 Aircross secured a dynamic score of 24/24, ensuring excellent protection for both 18-month-old and 3-year-old child dummies during crash simulations. It also achieved 12/12 in Child Restraint System (CRS) installation, with ISOFIX anchorages and support for i-Size compatible seats provided as standard on outboard second-row seats.

Specifications
Citroen offers the Aircross with two engine options - Puretech 82 and Puretech 110. The Puretech 82 produces 82 Ps of max power at 5,750 rpm and a peak torque output of 115 Nm at 3,750 rpm. It comes mated to just a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Puretech 110 is rated for 110 Ps at 5,500 rpm and torque output stands at 190 Nm at 1,750 rpm for the 6-speed manual gearbox and 205 Nm between 1750-2500 rpm for the 6-speed automatic gearbox.
