1% reservation for single girl child in Punjab
The Punjab government on Wednesday announced 1% reservation in admissions for the single girl child in technical education institutions across the state.

The Punjab government on Wednesday announced 1% reservation in admissions for the single girl child in technical education institutions across the state.
Technical education minister Anil Joshi said the decision would be implemented from the current session and necessary instructions had been issued to higher officials in this regard.
Appealing to all governing bodies of private technical institutions to execute the new decision, the minister also called upon them to perform a bigger role to ensure better educational opportunities for girls.
