City residents will enter the New Year on a bright, sunny note as per the Met department forecast. Chances of rain in the city before January 3 were nearly zero.
As per the Chandigarh meteorological centre, the last day of the 2015 may be cloudy. Director of Met centre, Surinder Paul, said, “The day temperature is rising because of mixing of the winds and this will continue for another couple of days, while night temperature may fall.”
“There will be dry days ahead at least till January 3 in the city. Higher ridges in Himachal may experience another spell of snowfall in the first week of New Year,” said Paul.
