30 cops get training on English speaking

The first batch of 30 police personnel of Chandigarh Police has successfully completed the three-week English speaking course, which was conducted from May 13 to 31, at the Recruit Training Centre, Sector 26, here. A special valedictory function was held in this regard at Police Headquarters, Sector 9. The function was chaired by UT superintendent of police (operations and training) RS Ghumman.

S Chaudhry, former principal, DAV College, Pehowa, Kurukshetra district, and guest faculty from Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management, who were also taking classes in the course, were present in the function. Certificates were given to all trainees.
