96-year-old WW-2 veteran Chhota Singh honoured in Fatehgarh Sahib

Director, defence services welfare, Punjab, Brig JS Arora (retd) felicitated 96-year-old World War-2 veteran sepoy Chhota Singh of the Sikh Light Infantry Regiment on Thursday.
Director, defence services welfare, Punjab, Brig JS Arora (retd) felicitated 96-year-old World War-2 veteran sepoy Chhota Singh of the Sikh Light Infantry Regiment on Thursday. He is living in penury at Humayunpur, Sirhind, in Fatehgarh Sahib district.
Wing Commander HS Kang (retd), district defence services welfare officer, Fatehgarh Sahib, said Chhota Singh was given a financial aid of Rs 25,000 from the Flag Day Fund, commemorating the contribution of armed forces personnel to the nation.
