Action on polytechnics not implementing 6th pay panel

The Punjab government has ordered punitive action against polytechnics which have still not implemented recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission.

The Punjab government has ordered punitive action against polytechnics which have still not implemented recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission.

Stating this here on Thursday, Madan Mohan Mittal, technical education and industrial training minister, said the administrative head of the department had been asked to furnish the list of all such institutes to the All India Council for Technical Education within 10 days, recommending action.
