Speaking at a health check-up camp in Sector 37, local party unit chief Sanjay Tandon exhorted the party workers to organise more such camps. He said Congress member of Parliament (MP) Pawan Kumar Bansal had been representing the city for over 15 years but failed to provide adequate facilities to the residents, whose number is growing with each passing year.

The camp was held by BJP's pharmaceutical cell in which more than 200 residents of the area were examined by a team of doctors.

The party also held an introduction programme for the party workers at Indira Colony here. The programme was also attended by former MP and BJP leader Satya Pal Jain and local Congress unit head Balwant Singh.
