BMS protest at venue
The members of Bhartiya Majdoor Sangh (BMS) of the BBMB tried to disrupt the celebrations at the Bhakra dam here. The BMS activists entered the pandal raising slogans, when the leaders were making speeches. Surprisingly, the police did not stop them.

The members of Bhartiya Majdoor Sangh (BMS) of the BBMB tried to disrupt the celebrations at the Bhakra dam here.
The BMS activists entered the pandal raising slogans, when the leaders were making speeches. Surprisingly, the police did not stop them.
On seeing the activists marching ahead, youth Congress activists led by councillor Paramjit Singh Pamma confronted them and resorted to counter-sloganeeering. At this, the BMS activists beat a quick retreat.
Pamma alleged that the BMS had tried to disrupt the proceedings at the behest of industries minister Madan Mohan Mittal, the local MLA.
