Department of Social Welfare in collaboration with Sanjh Jagori, a city-based NGO, celebrated Women's Day on Sunday.

A rally from Leisure Valley to Sector-17 Plaza was taken out. Two performances by Sanjh Jagori were showcased at the plaza.

A vibrant flash mob on new Punjabi 'bolis' was performed by the students of PG Government College for Girls, Sector 42. The exuberance of the participants attracted a large crowd.

A street play 'Kavita Da Katal,' written by Gursharan Singh and presented by Ikatar Singh's Chandigarh School of Drama, highlighted the problems suffered by women.
