CM, deputy CM mourns death of Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh’s younger sister

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Monday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Parkash Kaur (95), the younger sister of the legendry hero of the nation’s freedom struggle Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, who passed away at Toronto in Canada on Sunday after a prolonged illness.

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Monday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Parkash Kaur (95), the younger sister of the legendry hero of the nation’s freedom struggle Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, who passed away at Toronto in Canada on Sunday after a prolonged illness.

In a condolence message, the chief minister shared his heart-felt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and give courage to them to bear this irreparable loss.

Meanwhile, deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal and revenue & public relations minister Bikram Singh Majithia also mourned the death of Parkash Kaur.
