CM, others mourn ADGP's demise

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Tuesday expressed his grief over the untimely demise of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Narinder Sharma, IPS, who breathed his last here on Monday night after prolonged illness.

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Tuesday expressed his grief over the untimely demise of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Narinder Sharma, IPS, who breathed his last here on Monday night after prolonged illness.

Badal, in his condolence message, described Sharma as "a distinguished officer, who always discharged his duties with utmost dedication, sincerity and professional commitment throughout his career."

Sharing his sympathies with the bereaved family, the chief minister prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and give strength to the family members in this hour of grief.Deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal and information and public relations minister Bikram Singh Majithia also condoled Sharma's death.
