CPM also blames ashram management

The Haryana unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has blamed the state government as well as the management of Satlok Ashram for the violence at Barwala on Tuesday.

The Haryana unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has blamed the state government as well as the management of Satlok Ashram for the violence at Barwala on Tuesday.

In a press release issued here, party state secretary Inderjit Singh said that the police had first allowed the situation to deteriorate. His party condemned the attack on journalist and the smashing of their equipment. "This was to cover up the administrative and political failure. The government owes an explanation to the public how Rampal's followers had been allowed to amass arms and ammunition inside his ashram.



Inderjit Singh asked Rampal to apologise for the misconduct of his followers and called for impartial inquiry into the clash.
