Devin, Abhay secure second round berths

In the other matches, Abhay Mohan defeated Shrinik Bhalla 8-4, while Mahishmat Kumar edged past Arjun Kapoor 8-6 to enter the second round. Ravikarn Gill defeated Divyan Goel 8-5, while Aarav Singh Gill outclassed Parteek Singh 8-6 in other lopsided matches. Vikramaditya Singh Kadian also moved into the next round with an 8-0 win over Kartik Prahar.

In the girls’singles main draw matches, Nikita Kharangra ousted Riya Bhatia 8-1, while Agrima Tiwari defeated Snigdha Sran 8-3 to move into the second round. Priyanka Khanna blanked Laavanya Rai 8-0, while Nimrat Kaur also drubbed Chelsea Bhatia 8-0 to secure berths in the second round. Chandigarh Academy for Rural Tennis (CHART) trainee Bindu Kulhriya also moved into the next round with an easy 8-4 win over Maitri Chahal.
