Engineering student shot dead by classmates

A second year student of a private engineering college here was allegedly shot dead today by his classmates with police suspecting old enmity to be the cause behind the murder.

Victim Pradeep Kumar a resident of Sham Lal Dhani here was standing near the gate of the college when two of his classmates came on a motorcycle and allegedly shot him dead, police said.

According to Lal Chand SHO Agroha police station old enmity appeared to be the cause behind the killing as three months back there was a fight between them. The college management said the killers did not belong to the institution.
