Five PPS officers transferred

In a minor reshuffle in the police department, the Punjab government transferred five Punjab Police Service (PPS) officers with immediate effect. Assistant inspector general (AIG), litigation, Iqbal Singh has been transferred and posted as AIG, special cell, Chandigarh, while Harbaj Singh, who was superintendent of police (SP, crime-2), will now hold the post of AIG (law and order).

Assistant inspector general (AIG), litigation, Iqbal Singh has been transferred and posted as AIG, special cell, Chandigarh, while Harbaj Singh, who was superintendent of police (SP, crime-2), will now hold the post of AIG (law and order).

Mukund Singh (telecommunication) goes to the litigation department as the AIG, Jagdeep Singh will hold the post of SP (crime-2) and Sukhdev Singh Bhatti has been posted as AIG (information technology), shifted from law and order, at Chandigarh.
