Group Commander visits NCC camp

Brigadier MG Sekaran, Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarters, Chandigarh, inspected the 'Annual Training and Sailing Camp' being conducted by the First Chandigarh Naval Unit, NCC, at Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology hostel, Sector 26, on Tuesday.

A total of 103 NCC cadets, including 40 girl cadets of the NCC naval wing from various colleges are attending the 10 day camp which commenced on September `8. Commander US Thakur, the camp commandan, briefed the visiting official about the various activities like sailing, Boat pulling , ship modelling, drill and naval communication, among other things being conducted as part of the training of the NCC Cadets.
