Haryana power utilities' revenue at Rs 11,117 cr
Haryana power utilities earned a revenue of Rs 11,117 crore for 2012-13, up 13 per cent as compared to revenues of 2011-12. Power utilities--Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam recorded revenue of Rs 9,855 crore during 2011-12, an official spokesman said today.

Haryana power utilities earned a revenue of Rs 11,117 crore for 2012-13, up 13 per cent as compared to revenues of 2011-12.
Power utilities--Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam recorded revenue of Rs 9,855 crore during 2011-12, an official spokesman said today.
He said the increase in revenue has been the highest during the period October, 2012 to March, 2013 at Rs 5,846 crore against Rs 4,940 crore in the corresponding period of earlier fiscal.
The spokesman said the rate of return on input of electricity received has also increased by more than 25 per cent while the aggregate technical and commercial losses got reduced by almost 2.5 per cent during 2012-13.
