Haryana to set up Film Promotion Board

Haryana government has decided to constitute Haryana Film Promotion Board to promote cinema in local language.

Also, a film institute is being set up in Rohtak to promote the artists and culture in the state, said KK Khandelwal, additional principal secretary to chief minister.

He was in Ambala city Friday to attend the premiere of Haryanvi film 'Tera Mera Wada'.

Khandelwal said that the process to constitute the board is in final stages.

He said there were ample opportunities of producing films on Haryanvi culture as the state government is providing various facilities like tax exemption to promote regional movies.
