Hockey India names 32 players for monthly stipend

Hockey India today announced the list of 32 junior women hockey players who will get monthly stipend of Rs 10,000 starting from July. Hockey India will give each player Rs 1,20,000 per annum which is equal to Rs. 10,000 per month payable at every quarter.

Hockey India will give each player Rs 1,20,000 per annum which is equal to Rs. 10,000 per month payable at every quarter. The payments to these players will start from July-September quarter.

"This amount will provide a big support for players in purchasing their equipment and it will further help players to reduce the financial burden on their families," Hockey India said in a release.

Hockey India will also provide best quality goalkeeping kits to all the goalkeepers shortlisted in the list of 32 junior women players.
