HT Impact: Maluka's three-member panel suspended

Punjab education minister Sikander Singh Maluka's three-member panel that ordered vague tenders to divert central funds meant for library books, science lab kits and map guides into the pockets of shadily chosen firms has been placed under suspension with immediate effect. The panel members were director, public instructions, elementary(DPI-E) Pritpal Kaur, SAS Nagar district education officer Vinod Kumar and Gurtej Singh, finance and development officer, Punjab School Education Board.
