Industrialists discuss their'problems' with UT officials

During the session, organised to discuss problems faced by the local industry, the UT adviser had a positive approach and assured the industrialists of resolving their problem in a time-bound manner, a release issued by the industries' body said.

UT officials and industrialists discussed Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, leasehold to freehold transfer of industrial plots, floor area ratio (FAR) and the issue of green-belt plots and building misuse.

Industries Association of Chandigarh president Arun Mahajan said officials listened to their demands and assured to address them for improving industry.
