Kher reaches polling booth with 101-year-old father

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Kirron Kher reached Sector 8 polling booth on Thursday morning with her 101-year-old-father.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Kirron Kher reached Sector 8 polling booth on Thursday morning with her 101-year-old-father.

Dressed in yellow suit, the BJP candidate posed for photographers and asked her elderly father to show the vote cast mark on his finger. Kher was seen steering the wheel chair of her father Colonel (retired) Thakar Singh.

The elderly, while casting his vote, caught the fancy of photojournalists. The BJP candidate's father remained a subject of discussion on the social media also. Actor Anupam Kher, son-in-law of Colonel Thakar Singh, tweeted, "@Kirron KherBJP'Kirron KherBJP'ate'th with 101 s 101yr old father Col Thakar Singh casts his vote.
