Life convict dies of TB

A convict undergoing life term in a murder case who was suffering from TB died while being taken to a hospital here on Sunday. Judicial magistrate first class Davinder Singh reached the local civil hospital on getting information about the death of Gaje Singh, a resident of Pai village, who was lodged in Kaithal jail.

A convict undergoing life term in a murder case who was suffering from TB died while being taken to a hospital here on Sunday. A team of doctors performed autopsy in the presence of the magistrate and the procedure was videographed. Later, the body was handed over to the kin of the victim.

Surinder Kumar, DSP (jail), said the victim was suffering from TB for the last few years and was taking treatment from the Kaithal and Rohtak hospitals. His condition deteriorated in the morning and he died while being taken to a hospital.
